When will I be able to return to work or my normal routine?
Most patients return to light activities within a few days and to work within 4–7 days, depending on the extent of the procedure. Strenuous activity and heavy lifting should be avoided for 3–4 weeks.
How long should I wear the compression garment?
We recommend wearing it continuously, except when bathing, for at least one month. This helps minimize swelling, support your new contours, and promote smooth results.
Will I need a lymphatic massage after liposuction?
We start the first massage right after the procedure to help move fluids out. We recommend three sessions per week for one month with a trusted lymphatic or deep-tissue therapist.
What kind of results can I expect, and when?
You'll start to notice changes within a few weeks, but final results typically become visible between 3 to 6 months as swelling fully resolves and tissues settle.
How do I manage discomfort after the procedure?
Mild to moderate soreness, swelling, and bruising is common. Discomfort is typically managed with Tylenol and over-the-counter NSAIDs like Aleve or Ibuprofen.
